Checkout Links
Collect a quick payment without a formal booking or invoice.
Checkout links are the fastest way to collect a payment when you don't yet have a formal booking or invoice in place.
What is a checkout link and when should I use one?
A checkout link lets you collect a payment before a formal booking or invoice exists. You create a link with a name, amount, and currency, share it through any channel — WhatsApp, email, or SMS — and the customer pays directly without needing a platform account. It's best for deposits, holding fees, ad hoc top-ups, or any time you need to collect money quickly without full invoicing.
How do I create a checkout link?
From your dashboard, go to the Checkout Links section and choose to create a new link. Enter a name, currency, amount, and an optional description for the customer. Once created, it's ready to share immediately.
Can I choose who bears the processing fee — me or my customer?
Yes. When creating the link, you can set whether the processing fee is passed to the customer or absorbed by your business. If it's passed on, the amount the customer sees includes it. If your business absorbs it, the customer pays only the stated amount.
How do I know when a customer has paid?
Your dashboard updates the status automatically when a payment comes through. You can also open any checkout link from your list to see its full transaction history.
Can I deactivate a checkout link after sharing it?
Yes. You can set any checkout link to Inactive at any time. Once deactivated, it can no longer collect payments. Transactions already completed through it are unaffected.
Can I see all checkout links created by my team?
Yes. The business view shows all links created across your team. You can filter by status, date range, and the agent who created the link.
What happens if a customer tries to pay through a closed link?
They'll see the link is no longer active and won't be able to pay. To collect payment, create a new link and share it.
Can I edit a checkout link after creating it?
The amount and currency can't be changed after creation. To collect a different amount, create a new link and deactivate the original.
Can the same checkout link be used more than once?
Yes. An active link can receive multiple payments. For a one-time payment, deactivate the link once the payment is received.
What currency options are available?
This depends on your account configuration and the payment channels enabled for your business. If a currency you need isn't showing, contact your account manager to confirm which currencies are active.
